Eggnog Holiday Cookies
Eggnog is one of those treats that is only available during Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season. So why not eat it in a cookie too! Sprinkled with nutmeg on top - they make great gifts.

Halloween Cookies & Chippity Chippers!

I'm posting a little late this time due to complete laziness.

For Halloween, I ended up keeping it simple. I was going to a party and wanted to bring something for everyone. I found a recipe on MarthaStewart.com for small sugar cookies with candy corn. I used caramel candy corn for these and also cherry flavored gummy brains. The candy corn and brains are pressed into the cookie after they are removed from the oven. The cookies were still hot enough to melt the brains completely. They were absolutely delicious; however. I never would have thought to combine gummies and cookies.

For this weeks cookies I used an old Mrs. Fields recipe only I used more peanut butter chips and only one kind of chocolate chip. Very yummy.

Mini Spice Cakes with Vanilla Glaze

I spent less time baking this weekend, but I will be baking all week for work and a party. I'm planning on making sugar cookies and petite fours.



Mini Spice Cake with Vanilla Glaze and Halloween Sprinkles

This scrumptious spice cake contains sour cream, chopped raisins and walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves. The glaze I topped it off with is powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla. They were actually baked in little pumpkin molds, but you can hardly tell, unfortunately.

These turned out quite thin, but that doesn't distract from the brownie taste. In the center is a thin layer of caramel and pecans.

Almond Carmel Corn

This Sunday the only thing new I have to post is my Almond Carmel Corn. It is sooo yummy I had a hard time keeping my hands off of it! For sale this week is the popcorn, peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and my applesauce oaties. Yum!

This was another busy Sunday for baking. Here is what I've made for this week's sale:

Bacon Cheddar Cheese Breakfast Loaf



Bread loaf with shredded cheddar cheese and real bacon inside. The consistency is similar to a scone.

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie



This is a regular chocolate chip cookie super sized.

Cheesecake Peanut-Butter-Cup Cup



This decadent treat is a mini cheesecake with a peanut butter cup hidden inside. Complete with graham cracker crust.

Giant Peanut Butter Cookie



This is another baking basic. It's a regular peanut butter cookie super sized.

PB & J Cookie



This is a cookie I created a few years back for someone that loved to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich every night. I perfected it into a cookie. It is two peanut butter cookies sandwiched together with strawberry jam inside. It resembles a peanut butter ravioli. Absolutely delicious!

Chocolate Almond Biscotti & Pumpkin Spice Cookies

This weekend I made two new items.

Chocolate Almond Biscotti:



Roasted almonds and chocolate chips.

AND

Pumpkin Spice Cookies:



Pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, raisins, and chopped walnuts.
